Incredible News about Insurance

I never dreamed when we switched over to DH’s medical insurance when the Squirt was born that I’d be so happy today.  I feel like I just won the lottery!  Benefits as verified by “Becky-the-Bearer-of-Great-News” who works at the medical center indicate that our policy covers infertility treatments at 50%.  That in itself is pretty phenomenal, at least around where I live.  But read on, readers:  It covers 50% up to $1000 out of pocket, and then covers 100%.

Becky, did I hear you right?  I did?  What, there’s more??  There’s no cap on the benefit?  And it includes medications? (Can you hear me getting more and more high pitched with every question??)  At the rate she was going, I thought she was gonna keep on talking and tell me there was a new Jag parked in my driveway.  But alas, all good things must come to an end, I suppose.

I never thought I’d be so happy to speak to a hospital billing rep!
